Our Story of Hope
OSTARD (Organization for Socio-Techno Agriculture & Rural Development) came to existence on 1st April 1995 i.e. Odisha day and got registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 on 27.11.1995 as a state level non- governmental voluntary/ Social Welfare organisation bearing registration no 19881/109 of 1995-96, having registered address at: J.R.G Pur, PO: Palur, Via: Humma, Dist: Ganjam, Odisha, PIN: 761027 and in the year 2001, it was registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) 1976. For better efficiency, liaisoning and administration, we set up our Administrative & Corporate office at Berhampur Municipal Corporation area, an Indian B class city of the District Ganj

- OSTARD focus on establishment and sensitisation of different groups of the communities through mobilisation, education, skill & vocational trainings, capacity building, awareness generation & social transformation programmes and work towards forming a better society which provides basic health, education, livelihood and empowerment to everyone of weaker section of the society
Our Vision
To facilitate and empower the weakest & deprived sections of the society including Women, Youth, Children, Disabled & Aged through mobilisation, education, skill development, capacity building, awareness generation for their upliftment & socio-economic, cultural and political empowerment, enabling them to be self-sufficient & self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of livelihood, by acting as a project implementing agency/ resource centre in collaboration with other
